SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 197
BY SENATOR CHABERT
COMMENDATIONS. Commends Kathleen Bordelon on her outstanding accomplishments
at LSU and her contributions to the Senate.
A RESOLUTION1
To commend and congratulate Kathleen Bordelon on her outstanding accomplishments2
while at Louisiana State University; express appreciation for her contributions to the3
work of the Senate for the past three legislative sessions; and extend best wishes to4
her for continued success in the future.5
WHEREAS, Kathleen Bordelon is from Houma, Louisiana, and a graduate of6
Vandebilt Catholic High School; and 7
WHEREAS, she is a 2012 graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge8
with a major in Communication Studies and minor in Political Science; and 9
WHEREAS, while at LSU, Kathleen Bordelon was Student Body Vice President10
from April 2011 to April 2012 and was a member and vice president of Delta Delta Delta11
Sorority; and 12
WHEREAS, for the past three years, she has been employed at the Senate during13
legislative sessions, most recently as session aide to the Senator from District No. 20; and14
WHEREAS, she has been invaluable to the Senator from District No. 20 in assisting15
him in the completion of his legislative duties.16
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana17
does hereby commend and congratulate Kathleen Bordelon on her outstanding18 SR NO. 197

accomplishments while at Louisiana State University; express appreciation for her1
contributions to the work of the Senate for the past three legislative sessions; and extend best2

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to4
Kathleen Bordelon.5
