Abstract: Relative to the McKendall Estates Neighborhood Improvement District in Orleans
Parish, changes the boundaries of the district.
Present law creates the McKendall Estates Neighborhood Improvement District as a political
subdivision of the state in Orleans Parish for the primary object and purpose of promoting and
encouraging the beautification, security, and overall betterment of the area included within the
district. Provides that the district is governed by a seven-member board of commissioners and
provides for district boundaries.
Proposed law retains present law but makes changes to the district's boundaries.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
