APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against
the Department of Transportation and Development in the matter of "Marie
Pomacino, et al. v. Osvaldo Benito, et al"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2013-2
2014 to be used to pay the consent judgment against the Department of3
Transportation and Development in the suit entitled "Marie Pomacino, et al v.4
Osvaldo Benito, et al"; and to provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. The sum of Four Thousand and No/100 ($4,000.00) Dollars is hereby7
appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 to8
be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Marie Pomacino, et al v. Osvaldo9
Benito, et al", bearing Number 622-567, Division "P" on the docket of the Twenty-Fourth10
Judicial District Court, parish of Jefferson, state of Louisiana.11
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2013; if vetoed by the governor12
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,13
2013, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 14
