HIGHWAYS: Designates portions of certain state highways
AN ACT1
To designate certain portions of Louisiana highways to honor public service of Louisiana2
citizens; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 17 as "West Carroll Veterans3
Memorial Highway" ; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 80 as the4
"Thomas M. Alexander Memorial Highway"; and to designate Louisiana Highway5
94 as the "Donald C. Cleveland Memorial Highway".6
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7
Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 17 in West Carroll Parish, from its8
intersection with Cemetery Street north to Gaddis Street, shall hereinafter be known as the9
"West Carroll Veterans Memorial Highway".10
Section 2. The portion of Louisiana Highway 80 in Richland Parish, from its11
intersection with Bob's Lane east to its intersection with Orchard Lane, shall hereinafter be12
known as the "Thomas M. Alexander Memorial Highway".13
Section 3. Louisiana Highway 94 in Lafayette Parish shall hereinafter be known as14
the "Donald C. Cleveland Memorial Highway".15
Section 4. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are16
hereby directed to erect and maintain the appropriate signage reflecting this designation.17 HLS 13RS-487 REENGROSSED
