Danahay (HB 18) Act No. 9
Existing law provides for the creation of the Sulphur Industrial Development District. The
district is governed by a board of commissioners consisting of six members selected by the
city of Sulphur.
Prior law required the board of commissioners to meet in regular session once each month.
New law requires the board of commissioners to meet in regular session on a quarterly basis.
Existing law provides that the board of commissioners shall also meet in special session
when the president of the board convenes them or on the written request of four members.
Effective August 1, 2013.
