PHYSICIANS: Requires physicians to register as users in the La. Electronic Event
Registration System
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 37:1293, relative to licensed physicians; to require user registration by2
physicians in an electronic system for vital records preparation; and to provide for3
related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 37:1293 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง1293.  Electronic vital records preparation system; physician registration required7
Each physician who is licensed by the board to practice medicine in this state8
shall register as a user in the electronic system for vital records preparation known9
as the Louisiana Electronic Event Registration System administered by the10
Department of Health and Hospitals, or any successor to that system.11
