Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect certain fees.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for filing and recording articles
of incorporation, amended articles of incorporation, dissolution proceedings, termination of
dissolution proceedings, reinstatement proceedings, merger proceedings, and certificates of
correction for domestic corporations.  Prior law authorized a fee of $60.  New law increases
the fee to $75.  Provides that the fee may additionally be collected for conversions.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for filing and recording articles
of organization, amended articles of organization, dissolution proceedings, termination of
dissolution proceedings, reinstatement proceedings, merger proceedings, and certificates of
correction for domestic limited liability companies.  Prior law authorized a fee of $75.  New
law increases the fee to $100.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for annual reports for domestic
corporations and limited liability companies. Prior law authorized a fee of $25. New law
increases the fee to $30.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for filing and recording articles

correction for nonprofit corporations.  Prior law authorized a fee of $60.  New law increases
the fee to $75.  Provides that the fee may additionally be collected for conversions.

corporations.  Prior law authorized a fee of $5.  New law increases the fee to $10.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for filing and recording
applications for authority on foreign corporations, amended applications, withdrawal
proceedings, termination of withdrawal proceedings, reinstatement proceedings, merger
proceedings, and certificates of correction for foreign corporations. Prior law authorized a
fee of $100.  New law increases the fee to $125.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for filing and recording
applications for authority on foreign limited liability companies, amended applications,
withdrawal proceedings, termination of withdrawal proceedings, reinstatement proceedings,
merger proceedings, and certificates of correction for foreign limited liability companies.
Prior law authorized a fee of $125.  New law increases the fee to $150.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for annual reports for foreign
corporations and limited liability companies. Prior law authorized a fee of $25. New law
increases the fee to $30.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for registering a trade name,
trademark, or service mark. Prior law authorized a fee of $50.  New law increases the fee
to $75. Provides that the fee may additionally be collected for renewing and terminating a
trade name, trademark, or service mark.
Existing law authorizes the secretary of state to collect a fee for receipt of service of process
or other instruments.  Prior law authorized a fee of $25. New law increases the fee to $50.
Effective August 1, 2013.
