R.S. 3:3403(J) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 6 ยง3403. Present law creates the Louisiana Agricultural Commodities Commission (commission) and provides for the membership, terms, nominees and filling of vacancies, oaths, per diem, quorum, domicile, and meetings of the commission. Present law requires the commission to meet at least once each quarter of a calendar year and allows additional meetings upon the call of the chairman. Proposed law modifies present law by changing the required number of commission meetings from at least once during each quarter to four times per calendar year; otherwise, retains present law.
