Pugh (HB 473) Act No. 113
Existing law creates the Louisiana Agricultural Commodities Commission (commission) and
provides for the membership, terms, nominees, and filling of vacancies, oaths, per diem,
quorum, domicile, and meetings of the commission. Allows for additional meetings upon
the call of the chairman.
Prior law required the commission to meet at least once each quarter of a calendar year.
New law retains existing law and changes the required number of commission meetings from
at least once during each quarter to four times per calendar year.
Effective August 1, 2013.
