Montoucet	HB No. 721
Abstract: Requires the Dept. of Transportation and Development to provide each House and
Senate member a map indicating all projects proposed for construction within their
respective district for the coming fiscal year and all completed projects within their
respective district for the previous three fiscal years.
Present law provides that beginning on Oct. 1, 2010, and not later than Oct. 1 of each year
thereafter, the Dept. of Transportation and Development shall provide a proposed program of
construction for the coming fiscal year to the Joint Highway Priority Construction Committee. 
The committee is required hold public hearings in each highway district for the purpose of
reviewing priorities for the coming fiscal year.
Proposed law requires the Dept. of Transportation and Development to provide each House and
Senate member a map indicating all projects proposed for construction within their respective
districts for the coming fiscal year and all completed projects within their respective districts for
the previous three fiscal years.
Proposed law requires the Dept. of Transportation and Development to make these maps 
available to House and Senate members at the public hearings required by 	present law and be
made available to any person upon request following the public hearings.
