AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 42:1123.1, relative to the Code of Governmental Ethics; to provide an2
exception relative to the operation of a hospital within Hospital Service District3
Number Two of Beauregard Parish; to provide for prospective and retroactive4
application; and to provide for related matters.5
Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published.6
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7
Section 1. R.S. 42:1123.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows:8
ยง1123.1. Exception; operation of hospital owned by Hospital Service District9
Number Two of Beauregard Parish10
The provisions of this Chapter shall not apply to a nonprofit entity11
operating a hospital in a building or facility owned by Hospital Service District12
Number Two of Beauregard Parish.13
Section 2. The provisions of this Act shall be given prospective and retroactive14
application.15
