Murray (SB 152)
Proposed law provides that each court exercising juvenile jurisdiction may by local rule 
designate as a gun division one or more divisions to which gun and weapon-related offenses are
assigned and may establish a probation program to be administered by the presiding judge or
judges thereof or by an employee designated by the court.
Proposed law provides that each court exercising juvenile jurisdiction may enter into a
cooperative endeavor agreement with the district attorney, local public defender, office of
juvenile justice, or any public or private agency to implement a gun and weapon-related offenses
probation program.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
