Murray (SB 154)
Authorizes the state to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement with BioDistrict New
Orleans providing for use of the Louisiana State Supreme Court site and state office building site
located at 325 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Requires that the provisions of proposed law supersede and control to the extent of any conflict
with any other provision of law.
Provides that the board of supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and
Mechanical College, and the commissioner of administration, on behalf of the state,
notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, are authorized, empowered, and
directed to convey, transfer, assign, and deliver any interest, excluding mineral rights, the state
may have to the former site of Earl K. Long Medical Center to the East Baton Rouge Parish
Housing Authority in exchange of consideration proportionate to the appraised value of the
property.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
