Authorizes and provides for the transfer of certain state property in St. Tammany Parish. (gov sig) AN ACT1 To authorize and provide for the transfer of certain state property; to provide for the transfer2 of state property in St. Tammany Parish; to provide for the property description; to3 provide for reservation of mineral rights; to provide terms, conditions, and4 requirements; and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. From the said point of beginning follow the easterly boundary of the9 Main Drive right of way line a distance of 1600 feet to a point, thence East 4510 degrees South a distance of 500 feet to a point; thence South 45 degrees West a11 distance of 600 feet to a point; thence North 45 degrees West a distance of 40012 feet to a point; thence proceed 1000 feet in a southwest direction on a line13 parallel to Main Drive to a point which is the northwest corner of the existing14 lift station, thence northwest a distance of 100 feet to the point of beginning, all15 as shown on the Louisiana State Department of Hospitals map dated June 13,16 1968, being Plan 808, and all as per a legal description certified by J. Ben17 Meyer, Jr., P. E.18 Section 2. The secretary of the Department of Health and Hospitals, and the19 commissioner of administration may convey all or any portion of the above parcels of20 property to the parish governing authority of St. Tammany, in exchange of21 consideration proportionate to the appraised value of the property. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not3 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature4 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
