Prohibit smoking on the grounds of and inside the facilities or buildings utilized by the institutions managed and supervised by certain post secondary education management boards. (gov sig) AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 40:1300.256(A)(5), relative to general smoking prohibitions on certain public2 post secondary education campuses; to prohibit smoking on the grounds of or inside3 the facilities or buildings utilized by certain public post secondary education entities;4 and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 40:1300.256(A)(5) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 ยง1300.256. General smoking prohibitions; exemptions8 A. Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not1 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature2 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If3 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become4 effective on the day following such approval.5 The original instrument and the following digest, which constitutes no part of the legislative instrument, were prepared by Christopher D.
