Long (SB 39) Act No. 58
Prior law provided for the payment of fees for nonexclusive geophysical permits.
New law requires the permittee to pay permit fees to the office of mineral resources at the
time of application and provides that the State Mineral and Energy Board may determine fees
every 12 months or as often as necessary.
Effective upon signature of the governor (May 30, 2013).
