SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON NO. 90
BY SENATOR WHITE AND REPRESENTATIVE BROADWATER
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON
To commend the St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School boys basketball team
upon being the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 2A State
Runner-up.
WHEREAS, the St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School boys basketball
team completed a sensational season, earning the title of 2A State Runner-up at the LHSAA
basketball championship in March 2013; and
WHEREAS, the team won the runner-up title in addition to being undefeated district
champions, having a district record of 14-0; and
WHEREAS, the team finished with an overall record of 27-6; and
WHEREAS, two seniors, Cody Addison and Kaylan Richardson, were selected for
the 2A Academic All-State Team, and Addison was also selected for the 1st Team All-State
and All-District; and
WHEREAS, two sophomores, Jacob Drummond and Hunter Gebbia, were selected
as members of Beta Club; and
WHEREAS, Vincent Walker received a 2A All-State Honorable Mention and was
named to the 2nd Team All-District; and
WHEREAS, all members of the team performed at the highest level of excellence
throughout the basketball season, and each of these great players deserves recognition for
his vital contributions to the winning effort; and
WHEREAS, the team's outstanding season upholds the glorious tradition of the
school, and all St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School alumni and fans
recognize the immense pride and distinguished honor that the team brings to its school,
community, and state.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
commend the St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School boys basketball team
upon its memorable and historic achievement as the 2013 Louisiana High School Athletic
Association Class 2A State Runner-up and does hereby extend best wishes to the players, SCR NO. 90 ENROLLED

coaches, and everyone involved with this fine basketball program as they celebrate their
exceptional achievements and prepare for continued success in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to St.
Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School.
