Abstract: Extends authorization for the La. Tax Commission to levy fees for the assessment of
certain properties through June 30, 2018.
Present law authorizes the La. Tax Commission to levy fees from July 1, 2010, through June 30,
2014, for the assessment of public service properties, insurance companies, and financial
institutions.
Proposed law retains present law and extends the authorization for the levy of fees through June
30, 2018.
Effective July 1, 2014.
