HIGHWAYS: Provides relative to Louisiana Byway designations
AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 56:1948.5(50), to enact R.S. 56:1948.5(65), and to repeal R.S.2
56:1948.5(20), (48), (51), and (54), relative to Louisiana Byways; to designate3
sections of certain highways as Louisiana Byways; and to provide for related4
matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 56:1948.5(50) is hereby amended and reenacted and R.S.7
56:1948.5(65) is hereby enacted to read as follows:8

The following highways and sections of highways are hereby designated as10
Louisiana Byways:11

(50) Louisiana's Bayou Teche Scenic Byways:13
(a) LA 182 from Iberia Parish Line to Adeline its intersection with 6th Street14
in Morgan City northwest to its intersection with US 90, including its routing15
through Morgan City, Berwick, Bayou Vista, and Patterson in St. Mary Parish.16
(b) LA 326 from Adeline to Baldwin US 90 from its intersection with LA17
182 west to its intersection with LA 182 in St. Mary Parish.18
(c) LA 182 from Baldwin to Calumet its intersection with US 90 west to its19
intersection with LA 31, including its routing through Franklin, Baldwin, Jeanerette,20

municipal boundary of Delcambre located in Iberia Parish.13
Section 2. R.S. 56:1948.5(20), (48), (51), and (54) are hereby repealed in their14
entirety.15

Land Bayou/Basin Route to Our Cultural Roots, Iberia Parish Bayou Browsing Scenic
Byways, and Jean Lafitte Scenic Byways as La. Byways.
