Terry Landry (HB 16) Act No. 7
Existing law authorizes the 11th JDC, the 19th JDC, the 22nd JDC, and the Criminal District
Court for the parish of Orleans to create a reentry division which would be responsible for
developing a workforce development sentencing program with specific qualifications and
requirements.
New law authorizes the 15th JDC to establish a reentry division of court.
Effective Aug. 1, 2014.
