Regular Session, 2014 HOUSE BILL NO. 173 BY REPRESENTATIVE JAMES AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 33:9097.19(F)(introductory paragraph), (2)(a), and (5), relative2 to East Baton Rouge Parish; to provide relative to the Sherwood Forest Crime3 Prevention and Neighborhood Improvement District; to provide relative to the parcel4 fee imposed and collected within the district; to provide relative to the collection fee;5 and to provide for related matters.6 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published7 as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of8 Louisiana.9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:10 Section 1. R.S. 33:9097.19(F)(introductory paragraph), (2)(a), and (5) are hereby11 amended and reenacted to read as follows:12 ยง9097.19. Sherwood Forest Crime Prevention and Neighborhood Improvement13 District14 * * *15 F. Parcel fee. The governing authority of the city of Baton Rouge, parish of16 East Baton Rouge district is hereby authorized to impose and collect a parcel fee17 within the district subject to and in accordance with the provisions of this Subsection.18 * * *19 (2)(a) The initial amount of the fee shall be as requested by provided in a20 duly adopted resolution of the governing authority of the district.
