Armes	HB No. 344
Abstract: Provides for reduced fee hunting and fishing licenses for surviving spouses of
members of the U. S. military killed in action.
Present law requires the payment of fees for the issuance of hunting and fishing licenses.
Provides for certain exemptions from those fees.
Proposed law provides that any resident of La. who is the surviving spouse of a member of the
U.S. Armed Forces, the La. Army National Guard, or the La. Air National Guard who was killed
while in action in a combat zone shall be issued all hunting licenses and permits for a total fee of
$2.50 and recreational and saltwater fishing licenses for a total fee of $2.50.
