Badon (HB 347) Act No. 235
Existing law provides that any registered motor vehicle, low-speed vehicle, trailer,
semitrailer, or pole trailer, or any combination thereof, shall bear a valid safety inspection
certificate. Provides for exemptions.
New law exempts boat trailers from the requirement to bear a valid safety inspection
certificate issued in the state of La.
Effective Aug. 1, 2014.
