STATE SYMBOL:  Provides for fox pens as part of Louisiana's folklife heritage
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 49:170.19, relative to honorary designations; to declare fox pen hunting as2
part of the folklife heritage of the state; and to provide for related matters.3
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4
Section 1.  R.S. 49:170.19 is hereby enacted to read as follows:5
ยง170.19.  Folklife heritage6
It is hereby declared that fox pen hunting is part of the folklife heritage of the7
state and, as such, should be preserved in order to help maintain the folklife culture.8
