Regular Session, 2014 HOUSE BILL NO. 422 BY REPRESENTATIVE SHADOIN AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 9:202(1), relative to authority to perform a marriage ceremony;2 to require a religious official to have attained the age of majority before being3 authorized to perform a marriage ceremony; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 9:202(1) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 6 ยง202.
