HLS 14RS-271 ORIGINAL Page 1 of 2 Regular Session, 2014 HOUSE BILL NO. 50 BY REPRESENTATIVE GEYMANN APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment in the matter of "Nicole Higgins v. Gilchrist Construction Company, LLC, and State of Louisiana DOTD" AN ACT1 To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2014-2 2015 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Nicole Higgins v.3 Gilchrist Construction Company, LLC., and State of Louisiana, through the4 Department of Transportation and Development"; and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. The sum of Fourteen Thousand and No/100 ($14,000.00) Dollars is7 hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2014-8 2015 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Nicole Higgins v. Gilchrist9 Construction Company, LLC., and State of Louisiana, through the Department of10 Transportation and Development", bearing Number 2011-002110 "H" on the docket of the11 Fourteenth Judicial District Court, parish of Calcasieu, state of Louisiana.12 Section 2.
