Abstract: Provides an exception to the anti-indemnity prohibition for contracts to which the
state or its political subdivisions is a party.
Present law prohibits anti-indemnity provisions in certain contracts. Present law further provides
an exception to the prohibition for certain contracts entered into prior to January 1, 2011.
Proposed law retains present law and provides that the requirements of present law do not apply
to contracts to which the state or any of its political subdivisions is a party.
