Abstract: Prohibits issuance of a citation for a moving violation to the alleged violator through
the mail.
Present law provides that traffic citations be issued through books with citations in quadruplicate
or by electronic tickets.
Proposed law prohibits traffic citations for moving violations from being issued to alleged
violators through the mail.  Requires that any such citation be delivered by domiciliary or
personal service, pursuant to CCRP Art. 735.
