Abstract: Requires the Crime Victims Reparations Board to submit an annual electronic report
detailing its activities during the preceding year.
Present law provides that the Crime Victims Reparations Board shall submit an annual report to
the legislature and governor detailing its activities during the preceding year.
Proposed law retains present law but provides that the annual report submitted by the Crime
Victims Reparations Board shall be made available electronically on the website of the La.
Commission on Law Enforcement.
Proposed law further provides that sufficient copies of the report shall be distributed to the
governor, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, the chairman of the Senate
Committee on Judiciary C, and as many others as requested.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
