Abstract: Prohibits use of cell phones by all Class "E" drivers.
Present law prohibits a person who holds a Class "E" learner's license or intermediate license
from using wireless communications devices while driving.
Proposed law modifies present law by prohibiting such use by all Class "E" drivers.
Present law prohibits a person during the first year that person holds his first driver's license from
Louisiana from using wireless communications devices while driving.
Proposed law repeals this provision.
