Abstract: Requires the Recovery School District to give a contractor 10 notice prior to
cancelling a contract.
Present law provides that the Recovery School District is not required to use any selection board
when contracting for any public work or professional service, or when contracting for any other
service.
Present law provides that the school district shall comply with all other applicable provisions of
present law providing for public contracts.
Proposed law requires the school district to give notice to a contractor 10 days prior to canceling
any contract provided for in present law.
