Regular Session, 2014 HOUSE BILL NO. 827 BY REPRESENTATIVE WOODRUFF HEALTH/DHH: Requires food service establishment inspection reports to be made publicly available AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:5.5(B), relative to the inspection of food service2 establishments; to require inspection reports to be posted on the Department of3 Health and Hospitals' Internet website within seven days of completion of the4 inspection; and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 40:5.5(B) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7 ยง5.5. Present law provides for the sanitary inspection of food service establishments. Proposed law retains present law and adds the requirement that the Dept. of Health and Hospitals make all food service establishment inspection reports publicly available by posting a full and complete copy of each report on the department's Internet website no later than seven days after completion of the inspection.
