Abstract: Provides for a special annual permit for vehicles transporting crane equipment.
Proposed law provides for the issuance of a special overweight permit for the operation of
vehicles transporting crane equipment not to exceed 152,000 pounds with 8 axles. Specifies that
the permit fee shall not exceed $3,800. Requires that the permit specify the roads and highways
over which the vehicle may operate. Authorizes the secretary to promulgate rules and regulations
in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act as may be necessary to effectuate the
provisions of proposed law.
