Abstract: Provides relative to the membership of the board of directors of the New Orleans
Center for Creative Arts.
Present law provides for the creation of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA).
Further provides for the creation of a board of directors to be composed of thirteen members.
Present law provides that one of the members is the state superintendent of education. Proposed
law authorizes the superintendent of education to appoint a designee to serve in his place;
otherwise retains present law.
