Abstract: Provides relative to the membership of the board of directors of the New Orleans
Center for Creative Arts.
Present law provides for the creation of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA).
Further provides for the creation of a board of directors to be composed of 13 members.
Present law provides that one of the members is the state superintendent of education. Proposed
law replaces such member with an employee of the state Dept. of Education, appointed by the
state superintendent of education; otherwise retains present law.
