Wesley Bishop (HB 975) Act No. 211
Existing law provides for the creation of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts
(NOCCA). Further provides for the creation of a board of directors to be composed of 13
members.
Prior law provided that one of the members was the state superintendent of education. New
law replaces such member with an employee of the state Dept. of Education, appointed by
the state superintendent of education.
Effective Aug. 1, 2014.
