Requests the State Civil Service Commission to adopt a rule to allow state employees whose jobs
are privatized or whose jobs are relocated to another parish more than 50 miles from the previous
work location to be placed on a preferred reemployment list. Requires the State Civil Service
Commission to report its progress on the rule to the House Committee on House and
Governmental Affairs and Senate Committee on Senate and Governmental Affairs no later than
July 1, 2014.
