Abstract: Requires certain information relative to boards, commissions, and like entities to be
included on the official Internet website or portal of the Legislature of La.
Proposed Joint Rule requires the Clerk and the Secretary to ensure that the following information
concerning each state board, commission, or like entity created by legislative act is published on
the official Internet website or portal of the La. state legislature:
(1)Statutory citations to provisions specifically creating the board, commission, or like
entity; providing for its membership; and providing for its powers and authority.
(2)Membership information, including the number, names, and terms of the members and
contact information for the members.
