BY REPRESENTATIVES BROADWATER AND KLECKLEY
COMMENDATIONS: Commends Joshua Paul Scott upon his receipt of the American
Future Farmers of America Degree
A RESOLUTION1
To commend Joshua Paul Scott upon receiving the American Future Farmers of America2
Degree.3
WHEREAS, the Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization has awarded Joshua4
Paul Scott of Loranger, Louisiana, the American FFA Degree; and 5
WHEREAS, the American FFA Degree is bestowed upon FFA members who have6
shown the utmost dedication to the organization through their desire to develop their7
potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural8
education; and 9
WHEREAS, this award recognizes Joshua's demonstrated capabilities and10
outstanding achievements in agricultural business production, processing, and service11
programs; and 12
WHEREAS, Joshua was presented with the award at the 86
th
National FFA13
Convention and Expo in Louisville, Kentucky; and 14
WHEREAS, the National FFA Organization has provided leadership, personal15
growth, and education to over five-hundred thousand students across America, Puerto Rico,16
and the Virgin Islands; and 17
WHEREAS, Joshua is the son of Julius and Monette Scott of Husser, and he is a18

WHEREAS, Joshua is also a member of the Loranger FFA Chapter and is currently1
enrolled at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where he is majoring in2
animal science; and 3
WHEREAS, Joshua Paul Scott is one of Louisiana's finest sons, and he merits a4
sincere measure of commendation and recognition for his extraordinary accomplishments.5
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the6
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend and congratulate Joshua Paul Scott for7
receiving the American Future Farmers of America Degree, does hereby recognize and8
record for posterity the unique and notable achievement of this outstanding individual, and9
does hereby extend enduring appreciation for the tremendous pride and honor that he brings10
to his family, friends, community, and the state of Louisiana.11
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted12
to Joshua Paul Scott.13
