COMMENDATIONS:  Commends the Free and Accepted Masons, Southern and Western
Jurisdiction, upon the celebration of their 145
th
 Biennial Session
A RESOLUTION1
To commend the Free and Accepted Masons of the Southern and Western Jurisdiction upon2
the celebration of their one hundred forty-fifth biennial session.3
WHEREAS, the United Supreme Council, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of4
Scottish Rite of the Southern and Western Jurisdiction, United States of America, its5
Territories and Departments Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (AASR) is celebrating its6
one hundred forty-fifth Biennial Session with a week-long event that acknowledges7
significant milestones and accomplishments; and8
WHEREAS, this event year will unite Masons and Eastern Stars with memories that9
bonded them and the history they helped create in the United Supreme Council, AASR; and10
WHEREAS, the United Supreme Council, AASR merits a sincere and heartfelt11
measure of commendation as its members enjoy this glorious and unforgettable Biennial12
Session in the state of Louisiana.13
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the House of Representatives of the14
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the members of the United Supreme15
Council, AASR upon the historic and joyous occasion of their one hundred forty-fifth16
Biennial Session, does hereby extend enduring appreciation for the tremendous pride and17
honor that the Masons and Eastern Stars of the United Supreme Council, AASR bring to the18
state of Louisiana and the United States of America, does hereby recognize, honor, and19
extend a sincere welcome to the United Supreme Council of the Southern and Western20 HLS 14RS-1818	ORIGINAL

Jurisdiction of the United States of America, and  does hereby extend to the members best1
wishes for continued success and happiness in their future endeavors.2
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted3
to Otis F. Clopton, MPSGM, and Jimmy R. Flournoy, Grand Secretary-General-H.E.4
