AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 27:21(B)(2) and to enact R.S. 27:21(B)(3), relative to certain2
records held by the Board of Gaming Control; to authorize the board to adopt rules3
pertaining to the release of certain records; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 27:21(B)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted and R.S. 27:21(B)(3)6
is hereby enacted to read as follows:7

(2)  In accordance with rules adopted by the board, records containing11
information identified in R.S. 27:21(A)(2)(c) may be released to the person who12
submitted the record or his designee.13
(3) Notice of the content of any information or data furnished or released14
pursuant to Paragraph (1) of this Section Subsection may be given to the applicant15
or licensee to whom it pertains in a manner prescribed by rules adopted by the board.16

Present law provides for confidentiality of certain records held by the Board of Gaming
Control.
Proposed law retains present law and authorizes the board to adopt rules to provide for the
release of records containing an applicant's personal history forms or questionnaires,
disclosure forms, or financial statements and records to such applicant or his designee.
Proposed law authorizes the board to give notice of the content of any information or data
furnished or released pursuant to present law to the applicant or licensee to whom the
information pertains.
Effective August 1, 2014.
(Amends R.S. 27:21(B)(2); adds R.S. 27:21(B)(3))
