AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 1:58.6, relative to sarcoma awareness; to designate the month of July as2
"Sarcoma Awareness Month" in Louisiana; to promote public awareness about the3
cancer and recognize those individuals who have been diagnosed with sarcoma; and4
to provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 1:58.6 is hereby enacted to read as follows:7
ยง58.6. Sarcoma Awareness Month8
The month of July is recognized and designated as "Sarcoma Awareness9
Month" to recognize those individuals who have been diagnosed with sarcoma10
and to increase awareness of the disease throughout the state of Louisiana.11
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2014.12 SB NO. 142
