John Smith (SB 152) Act No. 373
Prior law provided for the governing authority of Beauregard Parish to appoint five citizens
to serve on the board of control of the Beauregard Parish War Memorial Civic Center.
Provided that the president of the police jury shall be an ex officio member of the board.
New law provides for the parish governing authority to appoint 10 citizens to serve on the
board of control.
Effective upon signature of the governor (May 30, 2014).
