Regular Session, 2014 ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 199 BY SENATOR MURRAY AND REPRESENTATI VE MILLER AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 42:1157(A)(1)(d), relative to the assessment and collection of late filing fees2 by the Board of Ethics or its staff; to provide civil proceedings to collect such3 assessment; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 42:1157(A)(1)(d) is hereby enacted to read as follows:6 ยง1157. Late filing fees7 A.(1)8 * * *9 (d) When all delays for a request for waiver or appeal of late filing fees10 have expired, a final order of the Board of Ethics or its staff shall become11 executory and may be enforced as any other money judgment. The Board of12 Ethics may file civil proceedings to collect such late filing fees in a court of13 competent jurisdiction.
