JUDGES.  Provides relative to vacancy in the office of a judge. (8/1/14)
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 13:11, relative to courts and judicial procedure; to provide relative to judges2
and judicial offices; to provide relative to vacancies in the office of a judge; to3
provide certain terms, conditions, procedures, requirements, and effects; and to4
provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1.  R.S. 13:11 is hereby enacted to read as follows:7
ยง11.  Vacancy in the office of a judge8
A vacancy in the office of a judge shall be filled in accordance with the9
provisions of Article V, Section 22(B) of the Louisiana Constitution.10
