AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 24:523.1, relative to the legislative auditor; to provide for the posting of2
notices relative to misappropriation, fraud, waste, or abuse of public funds; and to3
provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 24:523.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง523.1. Notices to be posted7
A. Every auditee shall post and keep posted in conspicuous places upon8
its premises a notice, prepared by the legislative auditor and located on his9
website, setting forth information concerning the reporting of the10
misappropriation, fraud, waste, or abuse of public funds.11
B. Every auditee shall also post such notices on the website of the12
auditee.13
