Nevers (SB 240) Act No. 600 New law provides that, in addition to the requirements regarding transmission of notice of judgment and copies of decisions under the Uniform Rules of La. Courts of Appeal, when a decision in an appellate court in a criminal appeal is rendered, the clerk of court is to transmit a notice or copy of the decision to the clerk of court from which the appeal was taken and to the Dept. of Public Safety and Corrections. Provides that when a decision of the supreme court is rendered in a criminal appeal, the clerk of court is to transmit a notice or copy of the decision to the clerk of court from which the appeal was taken and to the department.
