Present law provides that provisions concerning the authority and funding of the insurance fraud
investigation unit in the Department of Public Safety and Corrections will be null, void, and
unenforceable on July 1, 2014.
Proposed law extends these provisions until July 1, 2016.
Effective July 1, 2014.
