Martiny (SB 301)
Present law provides for requirements for disclosure of financial records by a bank or its
affiliates.
Proposed law provides that notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, any
collection or seizure of financial records in the possession of a federally insured financial
institution that operates in Louisiana and has its main office or one or more branches located in
this state shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements set forth in present law.
Effective August 1, 2014.
