Provides relative to hospital notaries.(8/1/14) AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 35:403(A) and (B), relative to hospital notaries; to provide2 relative to appointment of ex officio notaries by hospital service district hospitals;3 to provide certain terms, conditions, and procedures; and to provide for related4 matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 35:403(A) and (B) are hereby amended and reenacted to read as7 follows:8 ยง403. Ex officio notaries for hospital service district hospitals9 A. Notwithstanding any provisions of the law relative to qualifications of10 notaries public, the director of a hospital service district hospital, created pursuant11 to the provisions of R.S. 46:1051 et seq., may appoint not more than two employees12 of the hospital as ex officio notaries public.13 B.
